![]() ![]() We successfully avoided them until dinner, when we somehow hadn't realized that Crystal Palace had Winnie the Pooh characters. We first went when our kids were 5, and my son was absolutely petrified of costumed characters. Probably a long shot, but if you happen to be the cast member playing that character that night, that really made not only my entire evening but really helped as my wife and I were both kinda going through a low spot at the time. Then he broke away, waved and stood for a few seconds, then jumped back into character and caught back up with the rest of the characters. We locked eyes at the same time and Max pointed at me with both hands, broke into a dead run straight at me and threw his arms around me in a great big hug. One of the characters walking/skipping down the street was Max. watching one of the cavalcade parades going by. We arrived somewhat early for the party and were standing on the curb on Main St. My wife took an extra Powerline shirt that I had and turned it into a bag that I could carry my candy in. Also, I can do a dead-on impression of Goofy's voice which often catches people off-guard.įast forward to MNSSHP last October and I'm in my full Goofy setup - blue pants, orange shirt, black vest, one of those big bright green Goofy hats they sell at the park with the ears hanging down the side. ![]() My son, especially, kinda resonated with the movie theme though he didn't admit it at the time (he told me later on).Ĭorrespondingly, Goofy is one of my favorite Disney characters. ![]() One of our favorite movies back when they were pre-teens was A Goofy Movie. I'm a 63 year old male with two children in their mid-30s. ![]()
